Healing can be a sensitive topic for many of us, sold-out for the Lord. Some of us have had amazing healings of broken limbs, growths, optical, ear, speech, literacy, personality disorders, the ability to conceive, miracle births and many more.
There are those of us who have had back, neck circulatory problems, life threatening diagnoses, difficult operations, premature death and more again, who have not had a breakthrough. It is so easy to type these words, I want to apologise to those who read this who are affected because of loved ones subject to affliction, and those of us who are walking through the very fire right now.
I am reminded of Paul, who had an unnamed affliction, a thorn in his side, which he carried throughout his life. Despite this, God used him sovereignly in teaching, healing, miracles, church building. It did not debilitate him, and he championed on despite beatings, imprisonment, shipwreck, chains and shackles. His ministry was epic for the early church, despite his personal affliction.
So what does this mean? Are some of us 'unhealable'? Is it that we are not in rightstanding with YHWH? Maybe our unconfessed sins have held us back, iniquities of our forefathers, our attitude, lack of maturity of understanding the Word or maturity as a Christian, or we don't have enough faith!? And if this is not the case, and we are progressing in our walk and attitude with God, why are we and our family members being "taken out" by cancer and other diseases and sicknesses? Why are our kids, our grandkids, sick with 'flu and viruses from school? "Well, it's natural that every one gets sick, it builds up immunity". Point. But this statement does contradict the Word of God.
I can not say for sure why some are healed and some are not. But I can say that we can come to the Word confident of what our Father says.
Yeshua came to abolish the law. He came to crack the conventional, the accepted, the established and everything that comes with that: imprisonment, bound-up thinking, chained lifestyles, restricted freedom in thinking, laws to restrict and restrain as opposed to freedom and liberation.
Yeshua came to change our thinking, to turn our understanding of the world on its head. To defeat sickness, death, conventions, the present laws of our universe (He came from a multi-dimensional place into our world in conception, and after death before His ascension). Most of what Jesus did is not even in Scripture, so it is important we cling to what we have of Him, and we establish our faith upon that. It is Written ...
2 Corinthians 5 says:
For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands... For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life... Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
I believe we have lost the FEAR OF THE LORD: Paul goes on:
Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience...
I also believe we have lost our Godly PERSPECTIVE:
So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors... We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Our thinking is the biggest hindrance in our lives. The devil or the enemy, condemns us by our sinful nature. It is written though we are all guilty of sin, but there is NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus. It is a difficult thing, but if we want to experience His glory we have to experience His suffering.
As servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine yet regarded as impostors; know, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
This law is always at work:
"Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. what a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin."
(Romans 7 and 8).
James ('Old Camel Knees', Jesus' brother, leader of the council of Jerusalem and key leader in the church) wrote about:
Trials and temptations, listening and doing (chapter 1),
Favoritism forbidden, faith and deeds (chapter 2),
Taming the tongue, two kinds of wisdom (chapter 3),
Submit yourselves to God, boasting about tomorrow (chapter 4),
Warning to rich oppressors, patience in suffering, and the prayer of faith (chapter 5).
About healing, James states in chapter 5 v16:
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
I encourage you, Remove the Lie:
Pride, Arrogance, enablement, judgment, hatred, sorrow, strife, intolerance, harshness, wickedness, faith (in man), excessiveness
- all of which are contrary to the truth of God's Word.
And Replace the Lie with the Truth:
To be convicted of guilt that deals with your behaviour. Confess to God, repent, forgive, Confess to Man, Get prayed for, Receive your healing.
We are created in God's image, we have His DNA!
From the Father: Honor, Glory, Authority, Power, Wealth
From Yeshua: Humility, Meekness, Mercy, Grace, Forgiveness
From the Holy Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Gentleness, Self-control - there is NO LAW against these things!
Sin has NO POWER in the Light, only in darkness. Yeshua has removed the power of sin that leads to death. This power of sin has been BROKEN.
So I encourage you, Go sit before our Lord and ask Him
"What areas I have not dealt with, from a young age (5 or 7 upwards)? Ask Him to help you deal with unforgiveness toward other, and yourself. Then deal with your unforgiveness toward God, what He did not protect you from."
It is so important not to hold on to Unforgiveness!
Then, follow your steps of forgiveness with another, as Matthew 18:19-20 says
"Truly I tell you, that is two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."
Be open to being wrong. Forgive before you might say or think, "I have already forgiven what happened." Show you care more about others and your relationship with them than your fear of what they feel about you, and always always speak the Truth. 100%.
Finally, read John 13-17, Jesus' last management meeting with His disciples before He went to the cross. He spoke to them the most important things for them to know before He left them:
Jesus washes His disciples' feet, Jesus predicts His betrayal, Jesus predicts Peter's denial (chapter 13),
Jesus comforts His disciples, Jesus the way to the Father, Jesus promises the Holy Spirit (chapter 14),
The vine and the branches, the world hates the disciples, the work of the Holy Spirit (chapter 15),
the Advocate/Spirit of Truth, the disciples' grief will turn to joy (chapter 16),
Jesus prays to be glorified, Jesus prays for His disciples, Jesus prays for all believers (chapter 17).
I pray right now, for our YHWH Rapha to bless you with healing and freedom in your walk to wholeness. I pray you find someone to help you on this journey as it is not meant to be one to travel alone. Someone to pray with you, someone to love and support you in a physical and mental capacity. We all need that. Thank you Lord for all you are doing in my brother's/sister's life, and that there is not a molecule, no tiny detail You don't know about. There is nothing that goes by You. So we thank you for this revelation of preparation, renewing our thinking, knowing that Yes, we should have a fear of You, but You are also the One who loves us beyond all understanding. The height width depth and breadth, we can not fathom!
We also know that You are fully aware of where we are, but it is that intimacy You want, and we need to walk in to that with You, to understand where we are and who we are in Yeshua. We want to become more like You Lord. And walk in the fullness of RECONCILIATION, authority, power, forgiveness and healing with You. Amen!
Much love and blessings on your road to transformation in Yeshua,
